SAFE Futures generates impact by strengthening the skills of professionals working in gender-based violence prevention. The SAFE FUTURES project is expected to generate a strong and multi-level impact at local, national, and European levels.
At its core, the project strengthens the capacity of professionals working in the field of gender-based violence prevention by equipping them with innovative digital tools and methodologies. By training 60 professionals across Austria and Italy, the project creates a multiplier effect, as these participants will transfer their knowledge to wider communities and organisations.
A key impact lies in the creation and dissemination of 60 digital micro lessons, which will serve as accessible and scalable educational resources. These outputs will raise awareness on gender-based violence and women’s empowerment, reaching not only direct beneficiaries but also broader audiences through local events and online platforms.
The project also enhances civic engagement and community participation by involving local stakeholders, organisations, and citizens in dissemination activities. This contributes to promoting common European values such as equality, non-discrimination, and active citizenship.
In the long term, SAFE FUTURES improves the accessibility of adult education by providing flexible, digital learning tools, particularly benefiting vulnerable groups such as migrant women, unemployed women, and individuals living in rural or underserved areas
