The RE-MIND project, “A Mindfulness-Based Capacity-Building Model for Digital Wellbeing and Intergenerational Audience Engagement in Museums”, officially started with a two-day kick-off meeting held in Rome, Italy, on 16–17 April 2026.

The meeting brought together 22 representatives from 11 partner organisations from Italy, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Poland. It provided an opportunity for the consortium to establish a shared understanding of the project’s objectives, activities, expected results, and implementation priorities.
During the meeting, partners discussed the distribution of roles and responsibilities, approaches to collaboration, the planned activities, and the first steps for the implementation of the project.
At the centre of RE-MIND is the development of an innovative “Mindful Museum” model, combining mindfulness, calm technology, and intergenerational co-creation. The model aims to support digital wellbeing while encouraging more meaningful and engaging experiences for museum audiences.
The kick-off meeting marked the beginning of the project’s three-year collaboration. In the coming months, partners will work together on the development of the model, practical resources, training activities, and approaches to strengthen inclusion and intergenerational engagement in museums.
Further updates on the project’s activities and results will be shared throughout the implementation of RE-MIND.
