DIST-SEED in Rome: Testing Emotional Education Lessons in Practice

From October 21st to 24th, ADM hosted an inspiring Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA) in Rome as part of the ongoing DIST-SEED project. The event brought together educators and facilitators from across Europe to further explore the use of Digital Storytelling as a method for Social-Emotional Education with adult learners.

This four-day training marked a significant step forward in the project: participants had the opportunity to test and implement the Emotional Education lessons that were developed following the insights and collaborative work from the previous LTTA held in Lisbon. These lessons are designed to strengthen self-empowerment, promote social inclusion, and enhance digital and communication skills in adult education contexts.

The program included interactive workshops, practical group work, and reflective sessions aimed at deepening both the emotional and narrative dimensions of adult learning. The atmosphere was rich with exchange, creativity, and mutual support—key ingredients for building more inclusive and emotionally aware educational practices.

Stay tuned as we move forward in equipping educators and learners with new ways to tell their stories and connect through emotion-driven learning.
