DIST-SEED Digital Integration Storytelling Through Social-Emotional Education

DIST-SEED aims to bridge the gap between emotional education and digital competencies in adult learning. Emotional education—often referred to as emotional intelligence or emotional literacy—focuses on the ability to recognize, understand, manage, and use emotions effectively in different areas of life. This includes developing empathy, emotional expression, and self-regulation, all of which are vital for personal development, healthy relationships, and overall well-being.

The core outcome of the project will be the creation of a Digital Storytelling Toolkit, grounded in social-emotional education. This toolkit, consisting of a theoretical guide for adult educators and a practical guide for classroom use, will support adult learners in acquiring digital skills while helping them reflect on their life experiences, aspirations, and future pathways in learning, work, and life.
