First LTTA in Lisbon

From May 14 to 16, the first Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA) of the DIST-SEED project took place in Lisbon, Portugal. More than 30 participants from Spain, Denmark, Italy, Portugal, and Germany came together for an intensive training experience focused on Emotional Education and Digital Storytelling (DST).

Throughout the training, participants explored innovative approaches to emotional education, gaining tools to recognize, understand, and manage emotions—essential skills for both personal growth and educational practice. The sessions emphasized the role of emotional intelligence in learning environments and encouraged participants to reflect on how these competencies can be integrated into both formal and non-formal education.

The program also offered a comprehensive introduction to the methodology of Digital Storytelling. After learning about narrative techniques and best practices from across Europe, participants applied their knowledge by producing digital stories inspired by the coastal town of Cascais. These stories reflected a combination of emotional expression, creativity, and local culture.

This first LTTA marks an important step in the DIST-SEED project, which aims to promote emotional awareness and storytelling as powerful tools for education and community engagement. More training sessions and collaborative activities are planned in the coming months, continuing to build a European network of educators committed to innovation and inclusion.
