We are proud to launch DIST-SEED – Digital Integration Storytelling Through Social-Emotional Education, a forward-looking initiative designed to reshape adult education by integrating digital storytelling with emotional intelligence training.
This transformative project sets out with two clear and ambitious goals:

By combining the Digital Integration Storytelling Methodology with Social-Emotional Education, DIST-SEED provides educators with a powerful, practice-based toolkit to confidently engage with digital environments while fostering emotionally aware teaching approaches.
To empower adult educators and the learning centers they serve.
We aim to introduce an innovative educational framework supported by practical tools and compelling content. This framework is designed to promote adult learners’ self-empowerment, social inclusion, and digital literacy, offering them meaningful paths forward in learning, work, and life.
At its core, DIST-SEED is more than just a project—it is a journey towards greater inclusion, empowerment, and digital fluency in adult education.
Project Results
- R1: Co-designed Toolkit – Digital Storytelling through Social-Emotional Education for Adults
This result focuses on the collaborative creation of a comprehensive Digital Storytelling Toolkit, which includes a theoretical guide, digital materials, and hands-on teaching tools. It will be tested and refined through workshops and lesson plans with adult learners across partner institutions. The toolkit is intended to support adult educators in strengthening learners’ digital and communication skills, boosting self-confidence, and fostering inclusive learning environments. - R2: In-Person Learning, Training, and Teaching Workshops
Through a series of structured training workshops, educators and trainers from partner organizations will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to implement digital storytelling within a social-emotional education context. These sessions will offer an innovative and engaging approach to support adult learners—especially those facing personal or social challenges—in developing both emotional awareness and digital competencies.
