Tor Vergata TV is the digital television channel of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. It was launched in June 2007 by the University’s Rector and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, with the support of all six Faculty Deans. The project was designed and developed by the Archivio della Memoria (AdM), an internal University structure that manages and coordinates all TV activities and productions.
The platform includes several interactive sections:
– A video section with live weekly programming and on-demand videos across thematic areas.
– A text section with news and updates on education, culture, and research, including articles on scientific, economic, artistic, social, and historical topics.
– An interactive section where users can engage through blogs, forums, and upload their own videos.
Mission & Reach
With a rich archive of interviews, documentaries, and multimedia materials, Tor Vergata TV offers a dynamic digital space for learning, exploration, and participation, both for the University community and a broader online audience.
