DIST directly focuses on problems of social inclusion. To reach this objective it uses an innovative and in many kinds transferable approach. Particularly it aims at fostering social inclusion, diversity and non-discrimination in different fields of youth activities including of course education. This also directly relates to the ‘Youth’ priority of ‘Promoting Empowerment’ which among others integrates the idea of social inclusion and participation with the orientation at underlying European values and democracy.
