Objectives, Target Group, and Expected Outcomes of the SAFE FUTURES Project

The SAFE FUTURES project has the overall goal of equipping professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to prevent gender-based violence and support women’s emancipation through innovative educational tools.

Objectives

  • Develop and deliver training courses on gender-based violence prevention and women’s empowerment

  • Strengthen the competencies of educators, social workers, and professionals

  • Create and disseminate digital micro lessons as tools for awareness and education

  • Promote civic engagement and participation through innovative learning approaches

Target Groups

Direct Target Group:

– Professionals, educators, social workers, and volunteers

– Staff from public, private, and non-profit organisations

– Individuals working with women victims of violence and prevention programmes

A total of 60 participants (30 per country) will be directly involved in training activities.

Indirect Target Group: Associated partner organisations and their networks, Local communities, including women and men, Vulnerable groups such as migrant women, unemployed women, and people in rural areas

 

Key Activities and Outcomes

The SAFE FUTURES project will deliver:

– 6 training courses (3 in Italy, 3 in Austria)

– 60 trained professionals

– 60 digital micro lessons (30 per country)

– 6 local dissemination events (3 per country)

– Educational materials and training resources
