Last week, we had the pleasure of presenting our work “Educational Reinforcement Against Social Media Hyperconnectivity – Intro to the Project Ideation, Survey Results and Project Website” at the ECER 2025 Conference in Belgrade.
During the session, we introduced the rationale behind the ERASMEDIAH project, shared the first results of our international research, and showcased the educational tools we are developing to support youth workers, educators, and parents.
Our presentation highlighted key findings from focus groups and surveys conducted across six partner countries, revealing: the growing psychosocial risks linked to hyperconnectivity (sleep loss, anxiety, disconnection, harmful content exposure),
the challenges faced by families and educators,
and the urgent need for structured training programs.
We also presented the ERASMEDIAH Training Course—a comprehensive set of 7 modules and 37 lessons designed to strengthen digital resilience, promote safer online habits, and equip adults with practical strategies to guide young people responsibly in the digital world.
Sharing our work with researchers and practitioners from across Europe was an inspiring experience. The feedback, questions, and discussions during the session provided valuable insights for the next phase of the project.
