Climate change is one of the most urgent challenges of our time. Extreme weather events have already caused massive economic losses — and sadly, many lives have been lost too. This is why the EU is committed to reducing emissions by 55% by 2030 and achieving climate neutrality by 2050.

But change isn’t only about governments — it’s about us too. Developing green competences — like reducing waste, reusing materials, and choosing public transport — is essential for building a more sustainable future.

The DEED project is here to help: it aims to raise awareness about the importance of green competences and provide innovative tools for VET (Vocational Education and Training) teachers to integrate sustainability into their courses through flexible and accessible digital resources.
