This project is part of a multi-year action programme launched in 2005 by the Archivio della Memoria in collaboration with the University of Rome Tor Vergata, the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, the CIRCB – Chantal Biya International Research Centre, and the Lazio Region’s Department for the Environment and Cooperation among Peoples. The aim is to provide an effective response at various levels to the urgent health, communication and educational needs of the peoples of Burkina Faso, Cameroon and the Ivory Coast. The final objective of the programme is the realisation, following in-depth quantitative and qualitative research in the territories involved, of a complex, multi-level communication campaign to combat the spread of HIV/AIDS and to propose an alternative management of the disease to all the populations of sub-Saharan Africa. The materials produced during the research will be used by a team of creatives, graphic designers, editors and publishers to produce the necessary supports for the communication campaign. Video commercials, educational videos, video documentaries, information brochures, books, exhibitions, theatre performances, popular songs, etc. will be produced. To find out more about the activities underway, write to us and we will update you on the progress of the work communication and education of the peoples of Burkina Faso, Cameroon and the Ivory Coast.
