AQUA 2022, Salina Island, 21 – 24 April 2022

Aqua 2022 festival was born from the idea of promoting water and its uses, creating spaces, moments of sharing and dialogue. The main theme of the vast programme is the promotion and awareness of the theme and the preciousness of the element.  

Aqua 2022 is a journey that will touch on various aspects and artistic forms over a very rich three-day period. There will be screenings of documentaries portraying the social and cultural realities of the Aeolian archipelago in particular, as well as a digital storytelling workshop led by anthropologist, documentary filmmaker and director of the Archivio della Memoria Sergio Pelliccioni, with the active participation of students and local inhabitants, who will be accompanied in the creation, conception, production and post-production of audiovisual content.
